The Philippines is located in Southeast Asia and is recognized as the second largest archipelago in the world. An Honored Heritage
Filipinos have a heritage that they are proud of and it has grown over the years. Chinese and Japanese trading practices has greatly influenced the ways of the land and made it much more intriguing. Although they gained their independence in 1946, it was the American influence that introduced educational value and infrastructure to the country. The capital city of the Philippines, Manila, was once comparable to European cities in its beauty but that image was destroyed as a result of the Second World War.

The estimated population of the Philippines is approximately 103,000,900 and growing. The ethnic groups that make up the area is extensive with more than 90% of the population consisting of Indonesians and Malaysian stock. Only a small portion of Chinese extract exists which is less than 3% of the population. The two major languages are Tagalog and Filipino with more than five main dialects existing. English is also a widely spoken language in the Philippines as well. The Religious preferences vary a bit in the country also.
