We have 250,000 cubic feet of warehousing of which 150,000 cubic feet is temperature controlled.
A number of our clients choose to store their goods with us because their next destination is yet to be determined. It is not uncommon for the goods to remain in storage for a lengthy period and then be delivered locally.
All medium to long-term storage shipments are packed for International transit and loaded into large wooden storage crates (known as lift vans). The goods remain sealed in the lift vans until we receive further instruction from our client.
Lift vans are numbered and their position in the warehouse is logged. In addition every carton number loaded is recorded
making it possible to pinpoint and retrieve individual items if required (48 hours notice is required and charges may apply).
Every item is accounted for on our loading chart at the time it enters and leaves the warehouse to ensure all your individual cartons are accounted for.
With summer temperatures in excess of 45 degrees centigrade it is perhaps not surprising the demand for storage or personal effects and household goods in a facility equipped with air conditioning is high.
